Trying to surprise Mom Hilton

Mom Hilton turned 29 this year. (ok really 60) Happy Birthday! We had a couple of surprises set up for her beginning with Mary flying into town from Arizona. I picked her up at the airport and she hung out with us till Steve and Darlene got here. They were on their way to their condo in Salt Lake to spend the weekend (We had a baby blessing in the family). Steve told Darlene that he just had to stop and give the grandkids a hug. So they did, and "Surprise" Mary was here too. Darlene is hard to surprise so this was unexpected for her. She cried of course.

The next day we gathered at Pete and Mish's house for another surprise party with everyone. Except she suspected this one. I think we're going to have to get very very very (yes three very's) sneaky if we want to pull one over on her. She picks up on these little clues that we don't even know we left. Oh well. It was fun anyways.

For her gift Mary put together this amazing scrap book with pictures of all her family (kids, spouses, grandkids etc...) Most everyone wrote a little note or letter to her to put in the book. It was really sweet. Of course she cried.

We hope she had a great birthday. We love her so much.
