For the last couple of years that we've lived here our ward has held a trunk-or-treat. We all go to the church parking lot with trunks decorated and kids in tow and line up while the kids go from car to car to collect candy. It's a really safe way to go trick-or-treating. We also take the kids out for real trick-or-treating too. Just one more way to get more candy. Joey takes out a dad tax and the kids (kyle) just give me the candy they've taken a bite of and are done with.
So Elise and Kyle are here in their costumes. Elise is Princess Aroya (Aurora) and Kyle is Super Why, from the PBS kids show Super Readers. (of course he wouldn't be bat man or something easy)

Brendan is my little lion. I love this costume, it's so snuggly.
Theirs our not decorated trunk. I just ran out of time this year. Three kids really does make you busier.
