I heard Brendan talking in his room after a nap one day, so I went to get him. This is what he was doing.

-Kyle: we have been telling the kids that oatmeal sticks to their bones. Saturday morning Joey asked Kyle what he wanted for breakfast. Kyle: " I want Oatmeal. Oatmeal doesn't stick to my bones, it falls off my bones."

-Elise: (after painting her nails pink on a Wednesday night she said) " Ooohhh, they are soooo pretty. All the girls are going to be sooo famished!" Me-"Famished huh" Elise- "What does famished mean?" Me- "It means hungry." Elise-" Oh danggit."

-Elise: "Look Mom it really works! That's Impressive! "(taking mascara off her eyes with face soap)

-Elise: "Ok Kyle, no more mister nice guy! "

-Grandma: (while exercising with the kids asks this question)
"Can you feel the burn?"
-Kyle responds: " I can feel the burn!"
- Elise: " I don't like exercise, I don't like to feel the burn!"

-Kyle (to grandma) "Daddy said no I can't play with the popcorn bowl. He broke my little heart!"
-Kyle (about something that mom did that made him mad)
"Mom you broke my heart, again!"
-Kyle:(new words from Kyle)
