So my crazy brother Jared likes to come up with creative birthday activities. Last year it was a silly string fight. This year it was attempting to slide down a grassy hill on pool toys. Let me tell you, it's not as easy as sliding on snow. Mom did buy some cooking spray to coat the bottom of the inflatable whale and lobster, that did seem to help a little, and a very good running start. Michael and Jared seemed to go the farthest. It was bitterly cold for a June day, and it got dark so we had to stop. So it was an interesting birthday event to say the least. I wonder what we'll do next year. If any of you have suggestions, let us know.

Elise and Kyle had a good time, they would push each other down the hill on the lobster.
That may be the kids, or michael. They all went down the hill. Michael halfway rolled down the hill, which is cheating a bit.

Love that Jared always has to have something crazy for his birthday! A true kid at heart!
That is hilarious. I was telling Camille, you guys always do such fun things as a family! I think we need to follow your example.
that looks like a blast! how about next year you do something out of the ordinary like have cake and ice cream? :)
i went way further than maren gives me credit for! but it did take a lot of energy to get down half way, but at least i didn't have to walk all the way back up!
