Christmas eve

Christmas Eve is always a fun one in the Perkins family. The parents take us out to dinner and a movie. They have almost always been kid friendly movies. We have been doing this since I was little. The tradition started when mom would send us kids out with dad to see a movie so she could wrap. Then she started coming with us and we went to dinner too. We would go to pizza hut and a movie. The tradition carries on now. We went to the movie Bolt this year. It was a cute movie and it packed with one liners that are pretty great. I think the kids liked it for the most part. We ate at Macaroni grill (lets pick a much more kid friendly place to eat next year like a place with a playground or something. Why oh why don't they have any sit down Pizza Huts anymore?). Then we decided to go to Temple square. We hadn't been there yet. As nice as Temple square is, it was busy, and cold. And since it was getting late we didn't have time to really be there. We were going to go back to the parents house and read the Christmas story, but it was getting really late and there was still stuff to be done. So we went home. We did a whole family home evening on the Christmas story so we didn't feel so bad about missing that. It's such a fun tradition. We do feel a little bad for those working, but they probably volunteered, right.

Elise, Gavin, Camille, Mom and Dad (I'm sure EJ is there somewhere too).
