The Air Show (for EJ's Birthday)

The 2009 Air Show up at Hill Air Force Base. I've never been to one before so this was exciting for me. Joey has been to several so he wasn't as excited. We parked like a mile away and walked for probably 2-3 miles to get to where the air show was. For me it was worth it, but I think if, wait not if, but when, we go again, we'll take our bikes and bike in. That's the way to do it. It was great.

This is a B-1 from South Dakota where my b-i-l, Dan was stationed not too long ago.
So Dan, did you fly in this one?

The Thunderbirds

I was almost fast enough to catch both of them. One is passing the other upside down. Probably furthering relations..

It's amazing they don't bump each other. Or maybe it's a trick of the eye and perspective. Maybe they're really far apart but we can't tell from the ground.

One of the jets flew straight overhead. It scared Brendan pretty good so this is where he watched the rest of the air show. He probably thought the sky was falling.

They had a miniature monster truck that the kids could climb into. Fun times...
